The Nova Original Supernova2 is a heavy duty workholding chuck built for lathes with a 14 to 20 inch swing. It gives you a strong, steady grip for large bowls, hollow forms, and other high mass turning work.
A fully sealed backing plate keeps dust and debris out of the gearing, and Tuff-Lock gearing gives you smooth, one handed control when tightening or releasing your work. It is compatible with all NOVA accessory jaws, excluding Titan III jaws, so it fits right into a shop that already runs NOVA gear.
